A Major 'Miles'tone
Miles has been infected by progressive balding :(
Here are some pictures to show the evolution.

This picture was taken just four short weeks ago. See that beautiful head of hair?
Same day, four weeks ago.
This picture was taken two weeks ago. See the difference. It was amazing how fast he lost it.

This picture was last week. He was starting to look scraggly. He had lost all his hair except the tuft in the front. It was about 3 inches long and was a frizzy mess, so today was haircut day. I had to clean it up a little.

The new do.
I think he actually looks a little more like James now without his hair. We have teased that it was revenge from James because for the past 4 1/2 months that is all anybody could talk about was the difference in their hair. James hair is growing in quite nicely, now they are on even playing grounds.
Now for all those that just knew Miles was the one with the hair, we'll see if you can tell them apart now!

Mr. Fix It
Dallin has been so helpful around the house lately. He has always been handy. A couple weeks ago my washer wouldn't work. It would get through the cycle, but wouldn't spin it out at the end. This left me with a washer full of soaking wet clothes. I had procrastinated the laundry that week (I always procrastinate laundry) and had anticipated on a laundry marathon this particular day. I had started the night before and awoke to the sopping wet clothes and a frustrated morning.
Dallin had just started his set of work, meaning he would work 12 hours for the next two days. If I didn't have a washer, none of us would have anything to wear for the next two days. I called an appliance repairman and they wouldn't be able to come out for two more days. I was highly frustrated. Dallin came home from work and went right to work. He tore apart the washer in hopes to figure out what was going on. He would work on it and then go to the internet for any forums that would help. At 1:00 a.m. he came to bed ecstatic that he had not only figured out the problem, but had temporarily fixed it until a part could be ordered.
The problem was the wax board. Apparantely the control mechanism to lock the door (it's a front loader machine) was bad. The washer wouldn't spin if the door wasn't locked. He bypassed the control and had the machine working. The next day I did 9 loads of laundry. I was so thankful for a working washer. I was even more thankful for a husband that was willing to stay up late when he had to work a full day the next day and having worked a long day that day to help me.
The part was ordered and for $28 we were back in business. He has since replaced the part which required him saudering the part to the mother board of the washer. He's amazing.
Then this last week he came home from work and informed me the door to his truck would not open. The door pin had been going bad, but now it would not even open up. Again he dug into the problem. He pryed the door open, strung it from the rafters of the garage, bought the new parts and fixed the door. This cost us $19.
I am constantly amazed by his talents. He is such a hard worker and is always willing to try to fix anything. I know he has saved us hundreds of dollars by all the repairs he has done on appliances, plumbing, vehicles. I really appreciate him!

Pictures
I have been having a hard time getting pictures off my camera. I finally got it figured out today, so here are a bunch of pictures.
My early risers. These two pictures are yesterday morning and this morning. Alex and Miles both like to rise in the 6:00 hour. James prefers the 7:00 hour (as do I). Alex asks every morning for Miles to sit right next to him to watch cartoons while we wait for James to wake up.
This was just a few minutes ago. They were both fed and changed and so happy.
James looooves Alex.
My little brother returned from his mission to Russia this past Saturday. Here are the signs we had for the babies while we waited in the airport. It doesn't look like they were too excited to see him get off the plane :)

These are my sisters' twins. They are 19 months old and so cute. They were waiting for Jess to get home. Jess came home to two sets of twins he had never met. Their signs are below.
Sadly, I never got a picture of Jess. I don't know why. I think the excitement of him being home made me forget to get a picture. Not to mention each of us were holding a baby and trying to keep track of Alex, it was a little hectic :)

Look what we can do
We have been working hard on our tummy time. It seemed like they would never be able to hold their heads up. Yesterday, Miles surprised us and held his head up like he's always been doing it. James couldn't be outdone, so today he is doing it too. He has a little harder time with it, but it's progress.
